Office Engineer
Job Title: Office EngineerJob Description We are seeking an Admin/Office Engineer to support our Estimating team for projects at Intel's campuses. This position involves working onsite full-time at an operational semiconductor facility. The Office Engineer (OE) will assist with project administration activities, including safety and quality control, and will collaborate closely with the project engineer. The OE will handle various office matters such as trade partner/supplier management, contract changes, financial account management, delivery scheduling, and production trend reporting. Responsibilities + Send email notifications to trade contractors for various stages of work, including allocations, document pricing, and meeting attendance. + Update project data on the web-based database system (QuickBase). + Download contract documents. + Perform quality control checks on project specifications. + Receive and file trade contractor pricing documents. + Interface with third-party estimating teams and receive validated pricing documents. Essential Skills + 2+ years of administrative experience in the construction industry. + Familiarity with estimating processes. + Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). + Experience with general contractors (GC), Primavera, Prolog, and Autodesk. + Strong communication skills. + Valid Driver’s License. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Business, Communications, or an Administrative-related field. + Past internships in the construction industry. + Familiarity with database systems. + Proactive and detail-oriented. Work Environment This role is onsite at Intel campuses in Chandler, AZ, with a typical work schedule of Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working one Saturday a month.
