You’ll be responsible for:
IT and Systems Management
Oversee the Managed Service Provider (MSP) account, reviewing service tickets and reports, and ensuring resolution of technical issues.
Ensure the integrity of IT security systems by monitoring usage, troubleshooting issues, and enforcing data security protocols, and working with Managed Service Provider to drive process improvements across departments.
Monitor and optimize Microsoft accounts, including document storage and SharePoint usage; develop related policies, procedures, and training.
Develop and streamline the use of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams as critical internal communication and collaboration platforms, ensuring they meet the organization’s operational needs and enhance team productivity.
Evaluate and recommend IT inventory, services, and pricing, looking for efficiencies and cost-effective solutions.
Assess and recommend software and hardware needs across teams to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Create and implement policies for phone systems, including cost analysis and staff use training.
Coordinate and/or deliver IT training for team members.
Develop and document technology onboarding/offboarding processes for the office management team and monitor for opportunities to improve.
Manage and optimize the organization’s Smartsheet account; provide training and support to team members.
Stay informed about best practices in data storage, information management, and data security and bring improvements and best practices to the organization.
Support any major software and/or hardware implementations across the organization.
Office and Organizational Management
Provide project management support for administrative initiatives, including:
Office space scheduling
Shared space technology needs and presentation equipment
Oversee IT aspects of customer service systems, ensuring functionality and providing technical solutions.
Manage team member surveys, including project planning, scheduling releases, sharing data, and producing reports.
Creation and management of tools for reporting metrics, and other Office Management team reporting needs.
Organize and analyze data to produce dashboards and reports for organizational decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Proven experience in IT project management and process improvement.
Strong technical and IT troubleshooting skills.
The ability to analyze and recommend hardware and software solutions through engagement with stakeholders and industry knowledge.
Proficiency in Smartsheet and the ability to train others in its use.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including demonstrated experience in managing SharePoint as an administrator.
Experience with implementing IT security best practices.
Experience in creating and enforcing adherence to standard policies and procedures.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to train end users.
Any combination of formal education, paid work experience, unpaid/volunteer experience, and life experience will be considered.
To be considered above and beyond the average candidate in this role, you’ll also:
Familiarity with survey management and data reporting.
Experience with data integration and database management.
Your work environment and physical demands:
Your workday will be in a human-paced, team-oriented, business-casual style office setting.
This position may be eligible for occasional remote/hybrid work based on performance, and access to essential work-related resources.
While in the office, you will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
An office-based role means that your day will be mostly sedentary, with some time spent moving files, open filing cabinets, bending, and/or standing on a stool as necessary.
Occasionally you will travel between other Habitat locations or temporary worksites.
Your Work Schedule:
40-hour work week, generally Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Occasionally you may be asked to work overtime

We aim to offer equitable pay and benefits and are committed to transparency in compensation. Basing compensation on a candidate’s willingness and/or ability to negotiate leads to inequities and bias in how employees are compensated.
We determine the best possible compensation offer based on base qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the candidate’s competencies for the role demonstrated during the hiring process. Successful candidates are typically hired within the first half of the Pay Range and receive scheduled incremental increases. When starting in this position, your compensation will generally be between $25.74 to $31.37 per hour. The full range for this position $25.74 to $37.33 per hour.
