Office Maintenance Technician
**Overview** Pay rate: $40.00 per hour. This role does not require highly skilled maintenance expertise but involves a range of simple yet essential duties to support office operations and employee comfort. Key Responsibilities: • Hang and secure pictures, artwork, and other wall decorations. • Fix or replace door handles, hinges, and other minor hardware. • Set up and organize power strips and ensure they are functioning correctly. • Perform basic repairs on minor office items and equipment as needed. • Assist with furniture assembly and minor adjustments. • Conduct routine inspections of office areas to identify maintenance needs. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage of tools and supplies. • Report any significant issues or safety concerns to the Site Team. Communication Requirements: • Read/Write/Speak Sufficient English to Relay over appropriately information to client • Ability to text messages to client & provide picture updates • Some computer skills and ability to learn new platforms • Type basic emails with general information of tasks completed/pending • Respond and update work orders on client platform (training will be provided) Basic Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role preferred (2-3 years of experience) • Basic knowledge of hand tools and repair techniques. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude. • Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting, climbing, and bending. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. • Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely.
