The salary range for this role, based in Washington is $78,320.00 to $97,900.00. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary
This position will report to the Vice President, Public and National Affairs, providing administrative, operational, and policy support for Public Affairs. Responsibilities include research, preparing briefings, managing calendars, reconciling expenses, event management, lobbying disclosure reporting, and travel coordination. It will handle external policy engagement and internal/external projects, support Sustainability & Responsibility initiatives, and Political Action Committee efforts, aiming to create growth opportunities. The role will assist leadership with daily tasks and broader projects.
Major Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support for the Public Affairs team, including during travel and meetings. This involves effectively offering executive assistance in various situations. Manage VP schedule.Provide research and legislative analysis to support policy agenda, projects, and executive briefs.Track and monitor relevant State, Federal, Congressional, Administration activities such as legislation, executive actions, hearings, and events to provide analysis. Effectively translate research into verbal and written communication, policy documents and executive briefs.Support the implementation of company-wide PAC strategy, including assisting with solicitation efforts, communications, budgeting, and disbursement processes.Coordinate and manage events for Public Affairs team including fundraisers, meet & greets, off-site events (travel), and PRUSA PAC events.Provide administrative compliance support related to lobbying disclosure regulations and election law.General administrative duties (i.e, answering phones, filing, preparing, and drafting correspondence, travel, managing office calendar, filing expense reports, office maintenance/supplies,Prepare and regularly track the annual budget under guidance by VP. Providing day to day management of office invoices.Oversee time-sensitive administrative projects that align with public affairs goals ensuring seamless office operations.Contribute to special public affairs tasks and projects as an active team member.Streamline office projects and procedures, coordinate resources, and support public affairs activities.This is not an entry level position. Position typically interacts with managers and employees at all levels under the direction of the Vice President. Communication can include sensitive information, requiring complete confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts. The position requires superior attention to detail, writing/proofreading proficiency, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A working knowledge of the legislative process, an elevated level of discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside of the company is important. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.

Proven experience in office management, preferably in government/public affairs or a related field.Demonstrated cross-cultural competence and ability to collaborate across diverse teamsExcellent communication abilities, including the ability to distill legislative document and craft briefs for public affairs purposes.Track record of proactive thinking and effective time management in a fast-paced environmentAdaptability to manage challenges and make timely decisions in the dynamic public affairs landscapeFluent English, with very good written and verbal communication skills.Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Certificates in project management, operations or related subjects are helpful.- Qualifications
A minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in supporting VP and C-level executives, or in Legislative/Capitol Hill and/or event management experienceThe position is based in the Washington, DC office. Work is performed in an office environment and may require evening and weekend hours.
