The Opportunity
Manage the office and administrative responsibilities for the northeast Washington and Idaho operations for Manulife Forest Management (MFM). MFM is a steward of timberland investments, managing properties for timber harvesting. The position is based out the office in Colville, WA.
Scope:
The northeast Washington and Idaho areas combined total 364,000 acres and 14 staff
Required office management and administrative work with skills in the latest technologies including Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
Supports stewardship of people and the environment.
Stakeholder relations
Specific Duties:
Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment, including: contract preparation, invoice processing, managing records
Manage inventories of field forestry supplies and office supplies
Coordinate facilities security and maintenance
Implement office policies and procedures
Field calls and manage shared office email account to respond to inquiries from the public, internal staff and other stakeholders
Provide support to land management activities, stewardship programs, safety teams, acquisitions and dispositions teams, portfolio management and client services group, etc.
Liaise with accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate financial records and policy compliance
Provide administrative support to managers, including scheduling and organizing meetings and preparing reports
Other duties as assigned by the Area Manager or Region Manager
What are we looking for
Working knowledge of Microsoft software suite (includes Outlook/email or something similar)
Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Team player - able to understand and work with different personalities
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or other applicable field is desirable, but not required

HybridSalary range is expected to be between

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
