They must also exhibit skills in building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally. The ideal candidate is both approachable and respectful, comfortable with new technology, virtual meeting platforms and scheduling systems. Considering the culture of ownership and accountability within BWXT, this person should be comfortable taking the initiative when faced with administrative decisions. This role is a highly visible role and requires a high degree of flexibility, professionalism, and confidentiality. **Essential Functions/Responsibilities:** + Provides support and assistance to executives and other staff as assigned including but not limited to, scheduling, travel, and expenses. + Streamlines work methods and processes to eliminate inefficiencies. + Prepares meeting agendas, materials, and presentations. + Attends meetings, takes notes, and follows up on action items. + Coordinates, schedules, and manages office space and conference room availability for other company personnel, guests, and vendors. + Coordinates with other BWXT executive staff as required to support business meetings, travel, and functions. + Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff. + Serves as the primary interface with building management and support services and outside vendors. + Stocks and maintains the local office. + Performs and supports office event planning functions, to include board meetings and other senior-level engagements. + Handles sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. + Maintains discretion in all interactions. + Supports the multiple executives in ad hoc projects, data analysis, and research, and provides insights and recommendations based on findings. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + A minimum of an associate's degree is required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. + A minimum of five (5) years of relevant administrative experience. + Must have high level interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations appropriately. + Must demonstrate proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software including the Microsoft Suite of products. + Must have analytical ability in order to summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. + Must give continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. + Must effectively create and use written material and be at ease working with senior leadership. + Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship. Pay: $54,000 - $80,000 The base salary range for this position in FL at the start of employment is expected to be between $54,000 and $80,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
