Office Manager (Human Resources)

Busy company is currently hiring a full time and permanent Office Manager. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The company provides benefits after a short probationary period. Regular opportunities for pay increases based on experience.

The ideal applicant will have no less than 3 years of management experience and (preferably but not required) a Bachelors in Business Administration. The office has approximately 18 on-site staff members and numerous subcontractors and sales staff not in the office. The office manager is responsible for a variety of tasks from hiring new employees, document management to negotiating vendor contracts, payroll, benefits, etc. The company is looking for a well-rounded Office Manager that is able to work closely with various departments.

The Office Manager will oversee the office clerical staff; receptionist, data entry clerk/file clerk. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee files and acting as office HR during disputes. This position is also responsible for researching insurance carrier benefits each year and negotiating pricing, implementing new programs and incentives. Document management for business contracts, and manage company licenses, credentials and certificates. Work with the accounting department and provide budget forecasting for the office. Order office supplies, coordinate company events, promotions, and personal employee milestones. This position performs extensive reporting and requires heavy use of Excel.

Requirements:
No less than 3 years of office management experience
Knowledge of basic construction terminology
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Basic understanding of HR guidelines, policy & procedure
Basic accounting skills; Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
