Office Manager I

Are you a detail oriented, organized and operationally excellent leader who excels in office administration and collaboration? Come take your career to the next level! As an Office Manager I, you will manage the front desk operations of our facilities, oversee our administrative support teams, and provide top-notch customer service to internal and external parties. You'll welcome, screen and badge each visitor in accordance with security procedures, and answer, direct and announce all incoming calls in a professional demeanor. You will maintain office supply inventory, receive, sort and distribute daily mail deliveries, and support facility shipping and receiving. You may also serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) by maintaining personal and facility clearances, and providing security education and briefings. In addition to performing all necessary clerical duties associated with office operations, you'll provide proactive, administrative support to all on-site personnel, to include coordinating meetings, events and travel, executing conference room set-up, catering and IT equipment requests, and preparing and submitting expense reports and purchase requisitions. You'll also liaise with Facilities and IT as needed to ensure seamless operation of all office equipment, and you'll support Human Resources with new employee orientation. You will also assist various departments with the execution of enterprise-wide projects and goals by coordinating site-wide communications and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

B.A. (or equivalent degree), or H.S. Diploma with substitute work experienceTypically, 6+ years of progressive office experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is requiredMust have general knowledge of administrative and security practices, to include front desk management, badging, preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions, and coordinating meetings and travelBasic IT experience to include updating and backing-up software, troubleshooting IT issues, and coordinating repairs and maintenanceMust have experience with maintaining a secured facility, or working in a military or Department of Defense environmentMust be able to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexityThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with Microsoft Visio, Teams and SharePointExperience as a Facility Security Officer or Safety Coordinator Experience with C-Cure or other security badging systems

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
