QualificationsWho we want… (Requirements)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join NexGen Concrete Division as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing a good attitude and great computer skills to ensure efficient operation for the Concrete team. This position will work closely with the Office Manager on a variety of tasks; no one day will be the same.
Seeking three years of accounting and general office experience. An associate degree or higher is greatly preferred. Experience in construction, or cost accounting is also desirable. Must possess intermediate or better computer skills, including spreadsheets, and word processing. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and the Teams environment is a plus. At NexGen, we thrive on open and honest communication and seek a candidate who communicates well, both spoken and in writing. The person joining our team will be professional, and maintain a friendly manner on all occasions, including in virtual meetings. Bilingual communication is a plus.

Work closely with the corporate staff to provide general office assistance that produces high quality resultsOrganize travel arrangements for NexGen corporate staff, including flights, rental cars, and lodgingProvide general office assistanceOversee & implement the Concur reimbursement system for multiple executives – record entries on a weekly basisProvide accurate and timely payroll and HR-related administration and recordkeeping as requestedProvide a world class customer experience to management and all colleagues by delivering results in a timely and consistent mannerOther duties as assigned
