Job Summary/Description:  

This career opportunity requires the ability to interact effectively with individual employees at all levels, both on a station and corporate level. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibility, therefore, organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking are essential. We are looking for someone who can maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the position, who appreciates a challenge, can think ahead, and follow a task through to completion.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Station contact for several corporate departments including HR, AR, AP, Payroll and Gray Credit
- Involvement in processing of AP, AR, Sales Commissions, Payroll/time sheet review
- Managing new hire procedures, new employee onboarding, and provides administrative assistance to Department Managers when necessary
- Multiple general and administrative duties, many deadline driven
- Support administration of Safety Program with guidance from Safety Coordinator
- Other duties to include, maintaining station office supplies, maintaining EEO files, maintaining station FCC File and keeping it up to date.
- This position reports to the General Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

- The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of administrative experience, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Benefits, and Human Resource policy experience.
- Team player with a focus on station culture who can maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organization, dependability, and the ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of accounting, EEO regulations, Workman's Compensation rules, and OSHA Guidelines preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office is required
