Job Summary
The Office Operations Assistant carries out various functions within the office environment to make sure administrative duties are carried out smoothly. This is the first person to represent the company in a positive courteous manner, therefore helps to create first impressions with customers, vendors, and visitors.
Essential Functions
+ Greet and provide Front Desk Operations including switchboard, general building entry, administrative and security support to visitors/contractors/vendors/patients etc.
+ Point person for office area maintenance, mailing, shipping, ordering office supplies, and equipment including break room and kitchenette supplies.
+ Provide executive and Company Event logistical and catering support.
+ Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
+ Ensure Front Desk operations comply with appropriate Safety and Security policies.
+ Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events such as training programs, parties, celebrations, and conferences.
+ Provide other administrative and clerical support as requested.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
+ Associate's Degree preferred
+ 3+ years' experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Must be able to communicate effectively & maintain professional conduct at all times.
+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
+ Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
+ Professional and pleasant telephone etiquette.
+ Strong attention to detail required.
+ Moderate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to pick up new technology quickly.
