The North Texas Area is looking for our next Leader for the Office Principal responsibilities in our El Paso, TX office. This role is in addition to the internal candidate’s current fulltime role and responsibilities. It is expected that these added responsibilities will take about 20% utilization and will be budgeted as such. The selected candidate will continue to report through their current reporting structure, however, will complete the following duties in addition to current position under the direction of the Area Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities

Complete current job duties and responsibilities in addition to the Office Principal roleContributeto leading, management, profitability and direction of the AreaLead development, implementation and monitoring of office operating plan and budgetActively participate in development and implementation of the strategic plan for Area development and growth in cooperation with business groups, marketing and operational managementManage activities of personnel within office to provide high-quality services and to achieve or exceed plan resultsSupport and monitor Area procedures, processes and adherence to corporate and company policies, project contractual terms, and quality control proceduresProvide overall office leadership in cooperation with the Area management team and Project ManagersWork cooperatively with and inform regional and Area operations managers, business group directors and marketing managers in client development, marketing, key staffing needs and conduct of servicesMonitor Area business indicators and plans, and take actions necessary to meet operational goalsSupport hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, training and recognitionManage project staffing and workload balancingMaintain key client relationships and occasionally serve as Project Principal or Project ManagerCommunicate, implement, monitor and enforce company policies within the officeParticipate in Area quality assurance of project quality control procedures, risk management reviews, business reviews and disputes resolution activitiesServe as a company representative in business and the communityPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field Maintains a professional Engineering or Architecture registration and has extensive related technical management experience Outstanding leadership, communication and team-building skills Experienced in management and development of diverse teams Work cooperatively with company operations managers, business group and technical directors and marketing managers on departmental efforts Committed to quality, improvement and promoting HDR values An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
