Office Service Associate (Floater)

Responsibilities:\n

\u2022 Handle all materials received in the Mail Center [receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.].
\u2022 Deliver, pickup, and transport materials within, between, to, and from various departments. (Cover other accounts in the VA and DC Area)
\u2022 Deliver office supplies.\n

\u2022 Deliver within the building and other locations. Collect data for reports
\u2022 Ensures Customer Service area is always staffed and provide back up for call outs.
\u2022 Maintains records and files
\u2022 Must have good working knowledge of postal regulations
\u2022 Must have good working knowledge of computer basics
\u2022 Provide problem resolution
\u2022 May deal with difficult or irate customer periodically
\u2022 Ensures equipment is in good working order, equipment maintenance
\u2022 Interfaces with the client contact when required
\u2022 Keeps manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems
\u2022 May be required to work overtime periodically
\u2022 Able to set priorities
\u2022 Must be flexible to adapt to changes
\u2022 Must demonstrate leadership qualities\n

Special Skills\/Requirements\n

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
\u2022 Minimum of 2 years Mail\/Print services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.
\u2022 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).
\u2022 Excellent customer service skills; must possess a \"can do\" attitude.
\u2022 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
\u2022 Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
\u2022 Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
\u2022 Attention to detail.
\u2022 Ability to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed.
\u2022 Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds.
\u2022 Must have a clear background and drug test.
