Summary of Position
This job performs general clerical work and deals with sensitive information. The person in this position must be knowledgeable of workforce and personal enrichment courses, policies, and procedures and work to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable working environment for the Workforce Education, Academic Outreach, & Lifelong Learning division of the college. The incumbent supports the implementation of all programs and processes.
Minimum Required Education
High School or GED required.
Minimum Required Experience
Three years of clerical/secretarial work experience, OR six months of clerical or secretarial experience with satisfactory completion of a certification program from a relevant trade school.
A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
+ Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and document filing.
+ Strong data entry and word processing skills with high accuracy.
+ Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience handling sensitive information and financial transactions.
+ Skilled in engaging with the public, students, faculty, and college staff professionally.
+ Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
+ Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
