KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Manage and execute calibration activities for plant and facility equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop, review, and approve calibration protocols, procedures, and reports. Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibrations of instruments, sensors, and critical process equipment. Ensure adherence to GMP/GLP compliance, data integrity, and quality system requirements. Investigate calibration deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure proper documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. Utilize SAP or similar enterprise systems for calibration scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting. Support audits and inspections by providing calibration records and responding to inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve calibration-related issues and optimize equipment performance. Assist in the selection, procurement, and qualification of new calibration equipment and tools. Provide training and technical support to staff on calibration procedures and best practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field). 1 to 3 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation within a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of calibration principles, methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, FDA, WHO, ISPE, USP). Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing calibration data. Knowledge of quality management systems, documentation practices, and compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with calibration tools, software, and measurement systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Certification in calibration, metrology, or quality assurance is a plus.
