Summary of the Role:
Ensure shift production targets are achieved, keeping safe practices and product quality at the highest priority, focusing on continuous improvement, capability enhancement and ensuring safe operation in plant.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
To support and achieve daily production targets in collaboration with shift operation team. Perform all plant manufacturing activities and maintain the process parameters through DCS (Distributed Control System). Operate critical equipments of process plant. Record process parameters in predefined formats and in SAP Systems. Arranging raw materials at the charging point, verification and charging of raw materials. Field troubleshooting, visual inspection to detect defects or malfunctions and attend breakdowns of plant equipments with support from maintenance team. Support for Preventive maintenance and calibration of plant equipments. Ensure plant housekeeping and follow 5S practices. Identify near miss and improve opportunities for better EHS Practices, be a part of Human Performance Improvement Drive. Operate Filling / packing line as per the standard practice. To get training and participate in ERP (Emergency Response Plan) mock drills and firefighting drills. In process and finished goods sampling. Adhering to shift production volumes. Following practices of safety and quality of the product as per standard. Contribute to RCA (Route Cause Analysis), Risk Assessment, Process Review, PSSR (Pre Startup Safety Review), Projects and other initiatives as and when required.
