Offset & Industrial Cooperation (O&IC) Analyst

Position Overview

CAE is looking for an Offset & Industrial Cooperation (“O&IC”) Analyst who will primarily manage a portfolio of O&IC obligations, namely Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) obligations and Indigenous Participation Plan obligations (IPP) in Canada. Reporting to Regional Leader for Offset & Industrial Cooperation – Canada, the incumbent will work closely with key CAE stakeholders from various business areas and organizations, as well as government agencies. Our ideal candidate is familiar with the Canadian ITB policy and equivalent foreign policies, has experience working in or with O&IC in aerospace and defence industry, and wishes to better understand our customers and market activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop strategies to optimise economic benefits on our Defense and Security captures and programs.

Create status reports and briefings on O&IC programs under his/her responsibility.

Manages the entire lifecycle of an O&IC program, including its projects: support to business capture, planning, execution and close-out.

Liaise with Government of Canada and other government stakeholders.

Responsible for managing certain ITB banking activities stemming from CAE entities.

Work in collaboration with CAE departments to create and manage O&IC projects.

Participates in initiatives to create or improve processes and tools.

Required skills & Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in either International Relations, Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related field, ideally in management of O&IC programs

Capability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, autonomy and initiative

Capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Ability to think critically, creatively and strategically

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and DOMO

Bilingualism required (English and French)

Be able to hold a Canadian Controlled Good Clearance

Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
