Experi-ence should include in-depth knowledge of one of our primary paint technologies; metal pre-treatments, E-coat, or robotic liquid paint applications + Skilled communicator supported by fluency in office software. This would include Outlook, Excel, Pow-erPoint, Teams, etc. + Previous CAD and modeling experience such as AutoCad, Creo, SolidWorks, etc. + Ability to trouble shoot paint application equipment including traditional air atomized and rotary atom-ized technologies + Knowledge and experience in paint preparation techniques such as masking, sanding, and buffing + Ability to provide complete support in the paint repair and finessing processes + Experience with under the hook tooling and lifting devices design **What Makes You Stand Out** + Familiarity with programming languages such as Rapid, C+, C++, Python, etc. + Previous experience in offline paint programming preferably ABB Robot Studio or alternatively Fanuc RoboGuide/PaintPro, RobotMaster, Delfoi, etc. + Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and NFPA Standards related to paint operations and applications including but not limited to, paint robot programming safety. + Familiarity with DOT Hazardous waste handling and transportation + Familiarity with Class I DIV I and Class I DIV II areas + Familiarity with Illinois and Federal EPA regulations for paint material handling, storage, and application + Previous experience with Iron Phosphate and Zinc Phosphate conversion coating processes **Education** Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: + B.S Chemical/Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in automated paint processes **What You'll Get** At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
