Implementation, active participation, completion of Human Resource functions and administrative projects. Assess and anticipate HR related needs and requirements for accurate record keeping documentation, compliance and interpretation of Human Resource policies and regulations.

Support campus communications strategy and routinesHelp develop and administer departmental and company procedures and policies as well as interpret various Human Resource procedures and policiesMaintain employee personnel records, current and historical, physical and electronic, fulltime and contract: for accuracy and compliance with company & department policies, federal & state laws and regulationsDaily paperwork including changes in title, pay, shift, department, replacement requisitionsReport generation – Creation and maintenance of various reports, charts, graphs for distribution daily, monthly, annually: Affirmative Action Plan, EEO reporting, Organizational charts, Labor Statistics, Headcount, employee rosters, performance review, recall logs, employment verifications (written & verbal), human capitalAdminister the employee evaluation program, notification and processing to ensure appraisals are initiated and completed 100% on timeProcessing and maintenance for accuracy of the HRIS database and payroll audit reportsImmigration records, reports and filingsIn conjunction with hiring managers, work to create and update job descriptionsPartners with hiring managers to create/post and track Internal and external open positionsInterview scheduling, Pre-employment background and reference checksWork with recruiting/staffing agencies for permanent and temporary positionsAdminister and deliver New Employee OrientationProcess job offers, promotions, and salary compensation reviews for recommendation to HR Manager and Hiring ManagersSarbanes Oxley – responsible for compliance, implementation of improvements or modifications necessary to maintain 100% compliance of all Human Resource related SOX controls and testingCompliance and administration of all applicable sections within the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement including annual mass updates for contract increasesAssistance/answer questions/issues related to Human Resources, Labor Relations and basic benefitsMaintenance and notification of employee short term disability benefits and recordsMaintain the employee uniform program & safety shoe programMaintain & administer distribution, repair and replacement of company cell phones and pagersMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of company/department policies and proceduresSpecial projects or assignments as required

 

Qualifications:
