Oil Room Operator
Start your new career as an Oil Room Operator with MAU at our client in Clemson, SC. As an Oil Room Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation of two centralized oil systems.

What We Offer Competitive pay 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Climate-controlled facility Opportunity for advancement Unlimited referral bonuses What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or related field preferred Experience operating pumps, forklifts, and semi-automated control equipment Emergency response to spills and familiarity with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Forklift operators license Knowledge of and experience with Total Preventative Maintenance and 5S activities Mechanically inclined What You’ll Do as an Oil Room Operator Maintain Oil System #1 and #1, start-up, shutdown, oil and filter pressure, blow-down pressure, and transfers Perform routine maintenance on the oil system, including replacing worn parts, lubricating pumps, filling hydraulic drums, maintaining pumps and filters, and monitoring and maintaining oil levels and temperatures Process grinding swarf Coordinate waste disposal/transfer for accumulated swarf Adhere to all aspects and control requirements of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) Participate as a member of the Environmental Teams supporting Storm Water Pollution Prevention Programs (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Operate centrifuge and filter press Coordinate oil deliveries and supervise the unloading of oil tankers Order and maintain Oil Room supplies and spare parts Maintain daily cleanliness Follow all company policies and safe procedures at all times Perform other tasks as assigned
