Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. You will serve as an OILER in the Repair Department, of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities You will take oil samples of equipment to determine if they need change. You will dispose of all waste generated using proper waste information sheets, appropriate containers, and established procedures. You will disassemble resin filter canisters. You will energize and operate equipment to move parts to check fluid levels. You will disassemble and reassemble equipment for fluid and filter changes. You will replace coolant lines, hoses, fittings, and pumps. You will perform routine maintenance operations such as cleaning and flushing bearings and gear boxes, replacing defective oil lines and cups, grease retainers and fittings, and tighten pump glands. You will disassemble and reassemble equipment to accomplish fluid and filter changes, and repair and replace coolant lines, hoses, fittings, and pumps. You will use appropriate testing instruments and procedures to check coolant and lubricant for cleanliness and proper ratios. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.
