Your place in the team 

Responsible first of all for the delivery of L2 Support of Vodafone Hungary Office IT Desktop Services. Works across a broad range of office and workplace related technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support internal and external users in incident and requests handling. Provide second level support, assist for remote or direct (on-site) troubleshooting with in close collaboration with the 1L (customer service desk and help desk) according to the expected service levels.

You will be involved in the following tasks  


Office IT Services

•Assure that all Requests / Incidents are handled and managed according to Office IT policies
•Ensure that the related policies and procedures are well documented and followed.
•Answers IT requests via phone, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.
•Handles the incidents and requests, keeps the administration of information regarding errors up-to-date.
•Handles tickets at a time arranged with the customer.
•Informs the clients about the tasks, is in interactive contact with the clients.
•Solves most of the incoming problems, – especially in connection with office IT or workplace related applications and operation systems – corresponding to the level of his/her knowledge
•Provides remote support whenever it is reasonable.
•Forwards cases beyond his/her level of knowledge to next level of support. Escalates not solvable problems. Monitors escalated requests/incidents.
•Actively participates in the induction of new employees and gives professional guidance to them.
•Takes part in the installation and testing of new hardware and other software.
•Provides high level of advice and solutions to clients with appropriate feedback throughout the whole process.
•Keeps security requirements and making sure that all devices are safely Erased, Released and sold or decommisioned (Killdisk)
•Control and manage the company HW & SW asset in accordance with the company policies.
•Prepare reports in time and quality according to the management requirement.
•If needed Office IT services needs to be done outside of main office sites as in Budapest also on country side locations (e.g. technical bases or retail network)
•Ensure the following activities within the required SLA:
    -Workstation and additional Software installation (e.g. Spider Computer Management)
    -Handle the High Level Management Team requests with priority
    -Support the Meeting Room Infrastructure (e.g. Condeco, Polycom, Cisco and other audio/video devices)
    -Content Management, System configuration and replacement
    -Printer configuration in Retail (Install and renew certifications)
    -Screen and Projector installation / replacement if needed

Office IT Asset Management Services

•Performs physical takeover of assets from suppliers and from and to internal users; Asset collection, release, (tracking to whom, when, what was released)
•Conducts warehousing and asset management tasks concerning Office IT hardware equipment and accessories
•Perform minor repairs (keyboard replacement, HDD and display replacement)
•Manage Office IT Asset tools while Office IT equipments handover and collection
•Participate in Office IT Asset movement and inventory


Partner and third party cooperation

•Works close together with third party Office IT Service providers and supports that activities are complient with company and Office IT standards and policies
•Gives regular feedback to third party providers and to Office IT management


Office IT Projects, Asset management and Service Excellence

•Actively participates in training junior associates and provides professional assistance to them.
•Participates in projects and support all project related activities to deliver company goals.
•Contributes to the development of the knowledge base of the work team.
•Participates in compilation of fault-diagnosis questionnaires
•Shares information with colleagues and Office IT management.
•Makes proposals for the optimization of processes within and connected to Office IT.
•Solves also non-routine problems and requests that require more expertise, in the field of customer-specific applications, desktop computers, company-specific and customer-specific devices and servers as well.
•Puts customer satisfaction in focus when acting on behalf of Office IT.


We are looking for you if you have
•Technical qualification in Computer/Industrial/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
•Technical awareness and ability to quickly understand new technologies as hardware alos software
•At least 3 years working experience preferably in Office IT services and related roles
•Previous experience in customer facing and support roles
•Strong communication skills
•Strong written and verbal English knowledge
•Highly motivated, autonomous individual
•ITIL V3 foundation certificate is an advantage
•Must have B category driver licence
