Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Systems software requirements definition & decomposition for airplane network systems, validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integrationWork with software developers and test engineers to define and validate highly reliable system functionalityPlan, execute, and troubleshoot complex systems integration to validate interface definition and system requirements of airplane network systemsPerform risk management and trade study analysesProvide analytical and problem-solving skills to accomplish optimal system design and integrationCompare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience with airplane software certification RTCA DO-178Experience with airplane networks and communication systemsBasic knowledge of network protocols, routing table definitions, and network architecture definitionsExperience with Linux OSExperience with DOORSExperience with test procedures, lab testing and troubleshootingExcellent verbal and written communicationsExperience with Development Assurance, Certification and Safety AnalysisCustomer focus and ability to jump to the hottest “fire” and contribute to problem solutionsBachelor's degree and 7+ years and/or advanced degree with 5+ years experience. An accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Preference for accreditation to come from ABET.Strong familiarity with MS Office Suite

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
