Job Description

The role is individually accountable for designing, producing, analysing and documenting a range of predictive credit models across the entire credit life cycle.

Responsible for complex credit modelling calculations, analysis and commentary.

Designs, constructs and documents appropriate scoring models across the organisation.

Continuously researches and assesses new processes for model development and enhancement.

Prepares monthly credit provisions and write-off reports in line with approved policy.

Engages with external service providers to ensure appropriate levels of best practice benchmarking and model review.


Minimum Requirements

Graduate qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines (Science)

5 Years + working within a retail credit environment, with a specific focus on pricing of credit products of which 3 + years in a pricing role/Lending/collections/Impairments

Strong reporting and analytics background within the Financial Services industry

SQL, R and Python knowledge preferred
