This is an on-call, year-round Bartender position. The working schedule for this position may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Greeting and serving guests in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner
Knowing the proper preparation of all alcoholic drinks on the menu
Operating the point-of-sale system
Understanding and adhering to all accounting and cash control responsibilities
Receiving and storing beverage products in a proper and orderly manner
Ensuring glassware and bar utensils are washed and presentable before used
Completing all side work as outlined in operating standards
Completing all opening and closing responsibilities
Ensuring the bar par is adequate and that the liquor requisition is according to standard
Assessing customer needs/preferences and making recommendations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must successfully pass RAMP training within probationary period
Must be able to pass pre-employment alcohol server test
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of wines, beers and liquors
Knowledge and adherence to HE&R Alcohol Service Guidelines. Must be able to service/dispense alcohol in line with established PLCB regulations
Must demonstrate a proven ability to work with other employees in a positive manner
Should have a proven ability to work in an accurate and safe manner
Job Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and be able to stand for the duration of shift.
Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Normal working hours will consist of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
On-Call Bartenders will be required to respond to work six (6) shifts in a four (4) month rolling period, when work is available at their home property. On-Call Bartenders home coded to other HE&R departments/properties will be required to work one (1) shift in a six (6) month rolling period.
On-Call Bartenders will be required to work two (2) special events/holidays each year in their home property. Special events/holidays include: Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. On-Call Bartenders home coded to other departments/properties will not be forced on to the schedule for holidays/special events outside their home property.
