The Onsite Representative is responsible for managing workforce operations directly at the client's site located in PETERSBURG VA. This is not a remote position. This role ensures smooth daily operations, supports both client and employee needs, and upholds compliance with company and client standards. They act as the main point of contact between The Onin Group, the client, and the workforce, facilitating a productive and efficient work environment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Workforce Operations Management:

Manage daily workforce operations directly at the client's site to ensure smooth operations.Oversee daily employee check-ins, track attendance, and manage scheduling to meet client demands.Address and resolve employee and client issues promptly, escalating to higher management when necessary.

Client and Employee Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, addressing their staffing needs and concerns promptly and effectively.Act as the main point of contact between The Onin Group, the client, and the workforce, ensuring productive and efficient communication.Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

Compliance and Administrative Responsibilities:

Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and client site rules, including safety protocols.Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and performance, providing regular reports to both The Onin Group and the client.Handle administrative duties such as updating employee records, filing paperwork, and maintaining necessary supplies.Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.

Recruiting:

Effectively recruit and build pipelines with our teammates via phone, text, email, social media and in-person.Proactively develop creative sourcing plans to attract top talent using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.

Performance Monitoring and Development:

Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and assist with disciplinary actions if required.Support employee development through coaching and training initiatives.Ensure teammates meet necessary KPIs and attendance requirements by assessing skills, qualifications, and value fit.

Operational Support and Communication:

Proficiently use office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication devices.Ability to travel as needed, including driving or flying, to meet with clients, attend conferences, and visit other business locations.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and desk work.Ability to read and analyze written information and data on a computer screen.Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively during in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.Occasionally required to carry and lift materials such as laptops, presentation equipment, and promotional materials, typically up to 50 pounds.


Work Experience

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in staffing, recruitment, or workforce management.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities:

The willingness and ability to learn.Desire to help people.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client & candidate interaction, both in person and over the phone.Social adaptability.Ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships.Strong leadership mentality.Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders, managers, clients, candidates, and the general public.Outstanding leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues.Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.Ability to read client orders and procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions, take direction, and execute a plan.Agility to leverage all processes and technology tools productively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and other relevant software applications.Strong understanding of the light industrial sector (manufacturing, warehousing, logistics).Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the staffing industry.
