On-Site IT Support Specialist

A client is looking for skilled technical support folks to be on-site at their office in Newark, Caifornia. The team needs to perform several tech refreshes as well as other hardware and application projects.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain an up-to-date inventory list of all laptops, including purchase dates, warranty status, and current user assignments.
* Validate the status of devices with end users three months before they reach their designated refresh period.
* Coordinate with end users to schedule convenient times for device swaps.
* Back up user data and preferences to ensure a seamless transition to new devices.
* Deploy new laptops with necessary software and security configurations.
* Assist users with the setup and transfer of their data to new devices.
* Address any issues reported by users and prioritize cases based on severity and laptop age.
Perform emergency swaps in urgent cases to minimize downtime.
