What Contract and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health
Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer and vendor contract administration, customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing (including dropships), processing charge backs and vendor invoices, developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts.
Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
Responsibilities
Open, sort and distribute inbound mailOpen and sort inbound business repliesIndex documents into document storage system (Onbase)Update Marketing Consent status in the system (RGH)Bill secondary claims from Quadax Update addresses from returned HCFA claims mail Add missing information (codes etc.) on HCFA claims and mailProcess Customer and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) credit card paymentsWork database tickets out of Access Distribute Misc. Billing Faxes from workflow queue in OnbaseMail Patient Consent (PA) projects as neededOther administrative duties as determined by business needSupports (RCM) Revenue Cycle Management Analysts who work remotelyQualifications
HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferredPrior Administrative support experience preferredPrior work in medical facility dr. office, hospital, etc. preferredPrior data entry work or database work preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this level
