On-site Risk Analyst

The Risk Insurance Analyst will work closely with the Vice President and Insurance Risk Manager. This is a position based onsite at one of our clients’ offices in Boston, MA. The client's risk management group is responsible for advising the company in all aspects of insurance coverage and its commercial construction risk and for the placement and administration of global insurance programs.

Responsible for taking the lead role on the triage of reported incidents, claims management, and resolution and assist the risk management team, in the day-to-day administration of clients insurance programs.

The position helps manage internal and external risk control and oversight of organizational vulnerabilities that could impact or otherwise adversely affect our clients and its tax-exempt pension fund clients.

We’ll count on you to:

Manage risk information system from incident intake and claims management, insurance renewal support, policy administration, and data management.

Monitor and administratively support the property, liability, and environmental claims management process and maintain a diary system for following up

Manage insurance program finances including premium allocations, premium invoicing, claim checks, premium refunds, and quarterly reconciliations with our insurance brokers

Provide support to asset managers, joint venture partners, lenders, property managers, leasing agents, buyers, sellers, and internal and external counsel with insurance-related requests and questions and by providing insurance certificates and other required documentation

Manage our third-party vendor services for claims, certificates of insurance, and various data platforms specific to the risk management team.

Assist with the placement of portfolio-wide property, liability, and environmental insurance programs by supporting the data collection and exposure analysis process.

Communicate with partners, borrowers, and lenders for assets insured outside the ARA insurance programs

Prepare presentation materials for internal and external meetings

Execute placement of national flood insurance policies

Oversee the loss control inspection process.

What you need to have:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in risk management, commercial insurance brokerages or insurance companies.

Bachelor's degree in risk management, business or related field

Demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage required.
