**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented On-Site Service Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business St. Louis, MO. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Complete troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products and other customer equipment in a service shop. + Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines, including utilizing computers/software in the process of diagnostic work. + Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. + Completing required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. + Ongoing training and additional certifications on new and existing Cummins products. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Basic level field service work experience + Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products + High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional) + Customer service experience **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred) + Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution + Current relevant electrical certification (optional) + Locally valid driving permit + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience** : + Proficient knowledge in troubleshooting Cummins electrical and aftertreatment using Cummins Insite. + Proficient work experience in replacing internal components (head, pistons, liners, etc). + Embrace the Cummins values and use them daily. + Self-starter with a positive attitude that contributes to the team. **Compensation and Benefits:** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
