On Site Supervisor
**SUMMARY** Responsible for the day-to-day execution of facility operation, and maintenance services at multiple locations in accordance with contract and corporate requirements. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Act as a liaison with the Government as necessary to promote contract operational efficiency. + Respond to client-identified performance concerns. + Supervise site leads, resolve technical issues, and manage material and vendor requirements. + Supervise the administration and implementation of a safety program and training of onsite personnel. + Act as a liaison with customers, administrators, and operational employees as necessary to ensure contract performance. Report in writing and orally to higher management. Communicate directly with clients and/or other contractor personnel, and effectively allocate resources. + Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and performance standards. + HVAC service calls and preventive maintenance scheduling. + Responsibly negotiate with vendors. + Execute all repairs (i.e. A/C, carpentry, painting, plumbing, structural and electrical). + Communicate with customers and provide detailed status reports. + Maintain the computerized maintenance management system. + Maintain regular and punctual attendance. + Perform other duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** Supervise and mentor all on-site project personnel. **Job Requirements:** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree in management or another Business-related field, preferred. In Lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. + Minimum of eight (8) years management experience in which five (5) years shall be management of facility maintenance. + Demonstrated experience working closely with senior personnel, Government employees and other Contactors. + Capable of establishing mission-oriented teams and resolving facility failures in a timely fashion. + Familiar with facility maintenance standards and practices. + Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks. **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS** + Strong organizational and leadership skills. + Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). **WORK SCHEDULE** Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. **TRAVEL** The expected travel time is less than 10%. **DRIVING REQUIREMENTS** Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 10%. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** Work is performed in a maintenance facility / light manufacturing setting. Often exposure to sharp objects and may be exposed some heat, noise, chemicals and to vibration. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons. Seeing up close.
