Onboarding Coordinator
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Onboarding Specialist in Norfolk, Virginia. This role involves providing support and organization for the day-to-day operations of all onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government regulations. Responsibilities include: • Organizing and executing the day-to-day operations of all onboarding processes • Ensuring adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements • Reviewing and drafting new processes, procedures, and policies related to onboarding • Identifying potential risks, improvements, and efficiencies in onboarding processes and presenting suggestions for review • Processing various compliance screenings such as driving records, background checks, and health screen clearances for new hires • Managing all talent management systems' files and ensuring their accuracy • Providing metrics for functional areas as part of onboarding support • Training new recruiting and talent management staff on onboarding procedures and requirements • Utilizing skills in Auditing, Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Communication, Applicant Track System, Onboarding, Communication Skills, I-9 Audits, I-9 Compliance, and HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry • Proven skills in Auditing and Background Checks • Familiarity with Benefit Functions • Exceptional Communication Skills • Experience with Applicant Track System and Onboarding processes • Knowledge of I-9 Audits and I-9 Compliance • Proficiency in E-Verify system • Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
