Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Onboarding Coordinator in the Healthcare industry. The position is based in Norfolk, Virginia. The Onboarding Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new hires, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and managing the overall onboarding processes.
Responsibilities: • Facilitate the day-to-day operations of onboarding processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements. • Review current onboarding processes, draft new procedures, and make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies. • Handle the processing of compliance screenings, including driving records, background checks, and Office of Inspector General reports for new hires. • Manage all talent management systems' files, including auditing and purging per policy and state and federal government requirements. • Provide support in diverse onboarding tasks, including generating metrics for functional areas. • Update and maintain personnel systems with personal data, ensuring accuracy of all data entered in systems. • Assist in training new recruiting and talent management staff on onboarding procedures and requirements. • Utilize your skills in Auditing, Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Communication, Applicant Tracking Systems, Onboarding, I-9 Audits, I-9 Compliance, E-Verify, and HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems to fulfill these responsibility Requirements • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in onboarding coordination experience • Proficiency in auditing processes and background checks is essential • Degree in HR preferred • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required • Experience with Applicant Track Systems is necessary • Must have prior experience in onboarding procedures • Knowledge and experience with I-9 Audits and I-9 Compliance is necessary • Familiarity with E-Verify procedures is required • Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems is a must.
