Fleet Services By Cox Automotive is currently hiring a Learning & Development Analyst II to join our Learning and Development Solutions team to support the future growth of the Company. The primary responsibility of the Onboarding and Learning Design Specialist is the weekly facilitation of in-person and/or virtual onboarding. The Onboarding and Learning Design Specialist is a subject matter expert on all internal systems, policies, and procedures while serving company team members through growth, development, and engagement during the onboarding phase and throughout the employee life cycle. The Onboarding and Learning Design Specialist will also assist in the design and creation of technology-enhanced workstreams within each learning solution. The Onboarding and Learning Design Specialist will ensure that learning activities reflect good practices in instructional design and the use of educational technologies; including face-to-face delivery, action learning, e-Learning courses, videos, job aids, virtual instructor-led training (vILT), and other learning products with a focus on incorporating a variety of media and learning methods to create an effective learning environment.
The position will report to the Manager, Learning and Development Solutions and work closely with the Learning and Development Solutions team and various functional leaders throughout the business.

Duties:
Assist in the creation and weekly facilitation of a customized onboarding program (in-person and virtual) that welcomes, values, and empowers each new team member with the skills, knowledge, and resources to get up-to-speed quickly, maximize engagement, and increase team member retentionDeploy onboarding content during new team member orientation; especially pertaining to internal processes, procedures, and proprietary systems and devicesServe as a local subject matter expert for new team members to promote a healthy culture, answer questions, and provide support on internal tools, resources, and applicationsDevelop relationships with leaders, stakeholders, and onboarding participants to incorporate feedback and build continuous quality improvements into the onboarding programCreate, organize, and maintain all learning objects, training sessions, educational records, and reporting within Learn@Cox; the learning management system (LMS)Maintain and revise all training documents, records, evaluations, and certifications for team members; plus coordinate recertifications, updates, etc., as appropriateUtilize instructional design and performance improvement processes to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) instructional materials and programsAssist in the design and development of creative learner-centered, performance-based learning programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities; including synchronous and asynchronous remote learning, blended classroom learning, interactive e-Learning modules, videos, learning labs, simulations, user guides, templates, tutorials, practice tests, job aids, QRGs, coaching tools, learning communities, and other learning solutionsDemonstrate proficiency in creating learning objectives and activities geared for diverse learnersOther duties, as assignedQualifications:
3 years of onboarding and adult education experience; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and ArticulateBachelor's degree in Organizational Training and Development, Educational Technology, or a similar field preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.Hands-on experience with a learning management system (LMS).Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)Experience in the creation, upload, and maintenance of learning objects in a learning management system Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in varying stages of implementation while adhering to timelines, strict quality standards, and a strong attention to detailCandidate enjoys working in a high energy and fast paced groupExceptional verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a team environmentObsessed about the learner experiencePossesses a Servant Leadership mindsetCommon knowledge of the trucking industry; fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking is preferrableMechanical inclination strongly preferred, either professional or enthusiast competencyBenefits:
