Compensation Range
Hourly: $26.25 - $30.75 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support the new team member onboarding program as well as the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the retail line of business. This role will be a combination of office work, virtual meetings, facilitation of presentations and travel between multiple branches within a market to support the new team members in their branch.
Essential Functions
Provide oversight for the first 6 months of new hire onboarding/early team member experience and provide support through Foundational and Advanced training
Communicate, monitor, and support branch leadership and sales management with hands on, roleplays, or virtual training experiences for new team members
Support training by ensuring proper policy and procedures is part of observations
Identify any learning gaps during training and ensure development/improvement plans are put in place
Manage and facilitate regularly scheduled, virtual and in person, meetings with new team members and provide a positive and welcoming workplace
Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare and distribute materials, and facilitate market meetings
Compile, edit, maintain, and organize complex information for inclusion in department reports or presentation materials
Prepare routine, complex, and confidential correspondence for internal and external use and engage in regular communication and interaction with customers and employees
Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to remain current on Learning and Development practices, along with branch policies and procedures through ongoing learning and hands on experiences
Ability to influence team members, managers and internal partners through frequent communication and feedback
Ability to matrix manage to ensure accountability around the success of our newest team members
Strong presentation, meeting organization, and facilitation skills
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements
Education & Experience
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years of retail banking and/or sales experience required
3+ years of customer service experience required
1+ year of training experience preferred
1+ years leadership experience preferred
