Oncology Institute Specialist

Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Oncology Institute Specialist to join our Research and Education team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

Manages specific tasks of assigned research, education or operational projects or programs. Develops and executes plans and strategies to ensure the delivery of quality programming, services, tools and/or materials. Possesses a specialized set of skills and knowledge related to a specific area of focus.

The Metro Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium (MMCORC) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oncology Institute Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cancer research and patient care in our community.

Work Schedule:

M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or specialized training equivalent and minimum two years experience in area of focus. May require certification or proven proficiency in area of focus or required technology. Must stay current on new developments, trends, issues and technology. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external staff and customers. Excellent organizational/project management skills; attention to detail a must. Highly organized and self-motivated with effective problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be flexible when priorities change. Ability to make appropriate-level decisions independently. Ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure. Experience handling confidential information. Sensitivity and skill in managing relationships with customers. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, PCs, Internet, printers, telephone, fax, scan and copy machines. Some areas of focus require proficiency in additional specialized software programs and forms of technology. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of health care industry preferred
