Committed to providing the highest level of patient satisfaction, our 32-Bed Medical-Surgical-Oncology-Telemetry unit, that includes 12 monitored beds, provides unique cross-training opportunities for both experienced and new graduate nurses within this one unit. Outstanding teamwork with low turnover, this unit provides nurses the opportunity to work 12 hour shifts with nurse to patient ratios of 1:4 on days/nights with a Clinical Leader to provide support throughout both shifts. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

Expect to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
Qualifications

Minimum:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.BLS CertificationACLS certification (in monitored areas).Professional certification in area of specialty preferred

Preferred:

Chemotherapy certification preferred. Certification offered after 6 months of hireOne year of recent acute care experience BSN
