Position Summary
The Nurse Navigator RN is a multi-faceted opportunity providing comprehensive services to patients throughout our health care continuum. Working within hybrid roles of registered nurse, case manager and patient liaison, this dynamic role offers you the room to self-direct and prioritize.As Nurse Navigator RN at MultiCare, you will utilize your advanced knowledge and specialized skill sets to oversee the clinical, quality and cost effective outcomes of our patient population.
Responsibilities
You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basesYou will engage your critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and dataYou will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocolsCollaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reductionFoster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare teamAdvocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgroundsRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreementAdvanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)OCN, highly desirableThree to five (3-5) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty requiredCurrent BLS certificationOur Values

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $107,432.00 - $179,067.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
