This is a per diem opportunity. **Job Description:** Acupuncturists provide onsite treatment to patients currently or formerly undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment as well as their families and/or caregivers. Responsibilities/Duties: + Maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA compliance and completes required documentation. + Maintain strong relationships with all patients and staff. + Work well with supervising Wellness Coordinator and collaboratively identifies schedule with Supervisor. + Responsible for maintaining excellent appearance and function of treatment room. + Maintain certification required by Mount Auburn Hospital standards. + Attend all trainings, events, staff meetings, etc. as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager. + Consistently maintain positive, up-beat attitude and professional appearance. + Refer to policy manuals for specific instructions/guidelines, and follow established policies and procedures. + Adhere to the standards of the job description, treatment protocols and overall mission, vision and goals of Herzstein Wellness Center and the department. + Build high-quality working relationships with all levels of staff and customers with a wide-range of personalities and backgrounds. + Work independently within patient care and be a strong team-member with all co-workers. + Work independently with feedback from Manager and Supervisor. + Assist Supervisor and Manager with marketing strategies and promotions of massage services and products. **Requirements:** + Provider must have up to date in state license and certifications. + Experience in oncology and chronic illness also preferable. + Candidates must be certified in Auriculotherapy by the Auriculotherapy + Certification Institute and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. + Candidates must be willing to work towards credentialing within MAH system. + Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Must be able to remain composed, professional and positive in an occasional busy environment. **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
