One Management System Coordinator HSE

Lead the definition of the one Management System and the execution of the continuous improvement cycle for Vegetable Seeds Product SupplyDevelop and deploy a value driven global strategy for quality, health, safety and Environment (HSE), and product supply performance management excellence components in alignment with Bayer Crop Science expectations.

 

Key outputs / Responsibilities

Active player in definition of operational strategy for Global Vegetables Product Supply from an HSE perspective.Ensure human rights and compliance with environmental, health and safety corporate standards within Vegetables PS sites locations, identifying potential risk analysis for all sites activities, by providing guidance to site HSE personnel.Lead the development and integration of product quality, HSE and operational performance into a holistic and pragmatic management system to monitor risk and drive operational excellence for Global VS PS; including but not limited to Controlled Document Management, Auditing, Non-Conformance, CAPA Management, Continuous Improvement, Process OptimizationOrganize and coordinate both Internal and External Assurance programs related to Bayer Integrated Management System (IMS); including ISO9001, Global Accreditations and Certifications (like GSPP, Organic, SKAL, etc.)Govern and oversee the VS PS Management of Change (MOC) ProgramGovern risk management processes and associated mitigation plans, up to and including escalation criteria and effective feedback mechanismsDefine VS PS HSE metrics and assure reliable reportingFacilitate and oversee VS PS Management Reviews; ensuring frequency and content include all required components for HSE Collaborate with key business and functional partners to fully integrate Product Quality programs, policies and principles within key company initiativesIntegrate activities with broader License to Operate efforts for the Global VS Business 

 

Skills & Experiences

BA/BS degree in technical and/or management discipline with functional experience in safety, product quality, field or site level operations preferred Pref. Experienced in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and  complex mgmt. systems (e.g., ISO) Proven HSE experience or knowledge of HSE related processes. Risk-based mindset;Capability to collaborate and facilitate open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholdersAbility to focus on the customer and drive continuous improvementExcellent influencing and leadership skillsStrategic Mindset and Values differences;Strong cross-cultural intelligenceStrong ability to think strategically and leveraging opportunities to fully integrate quality principles and practices Highly effective verbal, written and presentation skills with all organizational levelsMust be able to travel up to 40% of the time domestically with some international travel
