3Ci's Client is seeking an experienced Development Manager. As the Development Manager, you will take ownership of an 18-year-old home-grown ERP system, while also contributing to the Catalyst digital transformation project, which aims to migrate to SAP by 2026. The ideal candidate will lead the team and oversee day-to-day activities, including coordinating with the offshore team in India and Mexico.
Position requires a minimum of 3 days in-office (with the possibility of 2 days remote) in downtown Atlanta. The team is geographically dispersed, with members in the US, Mexico, and India.
General Requirements
Strong proficiency in VB.Net, AWS, and SQL, with a focus on troubleshooting and performance tuning
Ability to support and maintain applications in addition to development
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong prioritization and leadership abilities
Comfortable with the understanding that the old ERP is a sunsetting project and willing to focus on future opportunities
Preferred Requirements
Previous experience with ERP systems
Essential Functions
Lead the team and ensure the smooth operation of the existing ERP system
Contribute to the Catalyst project, including coordinating with cross-functional teams, product owners, developers, testers, and business analysts
Ensure data synchronization between the old ERP and SAP during the transition period
Assist in cut-over activities and testing
Prioritize tasks and effectively manage resources, especially given the complexity of the Catalyst project
Serve as a working manager, able to understand technical issues and guide the team in problem-solving
