Overview The Application Specialist is responsible for supporting the application support of the OneStream application owned by the GTS Financial & Business Applications team. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource of OneStream, supporting processes, and implementing improvements. The Application Specialist ensures appropriate controls are in place and integrates data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities. The Application Specialist also provides administrative and project support to the team. How you'll make an impact Application Specialist responsibilities include: Serve as a OneStream subject matter expert associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures. Analyze data, write up source-to-target mapping, read data models and data mining and data profiling. Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and technology staff, including off-shore personnel, to ensure that communication is open and ongoing. Serve as liaison between technical and functional stakeholders and project management teams to keep initiatives moving forward smoothly and in accordance with project plans. Define project scope, project strategy, deliverable priorities, and recommend alternative solutions. Define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions with the internal partners. Coordinate project activities, prepare agendas, document meeting outcomes, and collaborate with team members. Establish, administer, and maintain project and knowledge management processes and tools. Ensure OneStream application is compliant with Gallagher’s IT Policy. Build plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes. Evaluate SOC reports to ensure vendor and application compliance and surface risks. Maintain the application SharePoint microsite including regular updates of critical information. About You Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Financial & Business applications, specifically OneStream Experience working with third party vendors to implement SaaS solutions Working "hands-on" knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies Financial acumen (working knowledge) and awareness of key accounting, financial management and analysis processes, including but not limited to AP, AR, revenue recognition, budgeting, bank management, time and billing estimation. Awareness of security and control standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST) Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel and Project Excellent organization skills, and verbal and written communication skills Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of technology project support experience Understanding of legal, IT compliance, and security with a fair understanding of security risk assessment Understanding of Single Sign-On and Identity Management solutions Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Intermediate experience with Microsoft Dynamcis 365 F&O, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Planview SharePoint experience, including creating and maintaining Team Sites, Project Sites, and Microsoft Teams is a plus Formal project management training or certification Strong SQL query skills Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams Work Traits: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service Good analytical and problem solving skills Strong attention to detail Dependable, hardworking, professional, self-starter, able to work well with cross-functional teams Ability to perform both project management and business/systems analysis #LI-TG2 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
