Onshore GW and AWS Tech Lead
Position Summary

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

 

Provide comprehensive application management services, including maintenance, support, and small change management.Collaborate closely with the client to understand their business needs and ensure the stability and reliability of their IT systems.Proactively monitor and resolve issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.Implement minor enhancements and adjustments to improve system functionality and user experience.Support the legacy operations of State Auto Insurance, ensuring seamless integration and continuity of services.Maintain and enhance the Guidewire ecosystem, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, as well as associated portals.Support upstream systems, including Duck Creek, and manage downstream data lakes to ensure data integrity and availability.Work closely with the client and business to ensure their requirements are met.Troubleshoot production issues, reproduce them in lower environments, and help with permanent solutions.Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Operations and Technology Transformation delivers market leading expertise and industry depth by harnessing deep sector knowledge, scaling the power of hybrid services and products, and unlocking the power of Process Bionics to deliver sustainable and impactful solutions to our clients.  We advise, design, implement, and deploy innovative and technology enabled solutions focused on “heart of the business” issues in specific sectors including Health Care & Life Sciences, Digital Banking & Payments, Investment & Wealth Management, Insurance, Telecom, Media and Energy & Resources.

 

Our OTT team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry—and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

 

Qualifications

 

Required

5+ Years Experience in application management and support.Proven experience in small change management and implementing system enhancementsStrong technical background with expertise in the Guidewire suite.Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experienceLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Analytical/ decision making responsibilitiesAnalytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work productsCan operate independently or with minimum supervisionExcellent written and communication skillsAbility to deliver technical demonstrations
