Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Onsite Chart Retrieval Specialist in the healthcare and social assistance sector, located in Gardena, California. The role entails visiting various medical sites to retrieve and handle sensitive patient data, primarily records for Medicare and Medicaid. Using various EHR systems, you will be responsible for the secure transfer and management of this data. Responsibilities: • Traveling to different medical facilities to collect patient charts • Utilizing systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, MEDITECH for data collection and management • Safely and confidentially handling patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations • Using a flash drive and Optum computer for the onsite downloading and retrieval of charts • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry into Microsoft Excel • Maintaining strict confidentiality in line with healthcare compliance regulations • Managing and monitoring charts and graphs related to patient data • Assisting in clinical trial operations as necessary. Requirements • Entry-level position, no prior experience required • Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and MEDITECH • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, especially in creating charts and graphs • Experience or knowledge in Clinical Trial Operations would be advantageous • Must understand and adhere to strict compliance regulations related to healthcare • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive health information • Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to be onsite for chart retrieval tasks in a hospital or healthcare setting.
