ONSITE CQV Engineer

Insight Global seeking 2 CQV Engineers to join our team at a global biotechnology client. These 2 resources will be responsible for commissioning and qualification of the equipment at a new cell therapy site. They will oversee the commissioning of facility equipment, transitioning towards qualification, and ensuring all systems are operational by January 2026. These are 2 6 month contract roles with the potential for extension until the end of 2025. Both roles are 5 days a week onsite in Maryland.
Key Responsibilities include:
Commissioning and Qualification: Lead the commissioning of facility and utility equipment, including freezers, refrigerators, cryofreezers, incubators, and safety system interlocks.
Execution: Begin execution processes in December, focusing on electrical execution for sheer water systems.
Facility and Utility Management: Oversee the management of facility and utility systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
System Interlocks and PAS-X: Implement and manage safety system interlocks and PAS-X systems.
Quality Control: Focus on lab QC for cell therapy, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
IQ, OQ, PQ: Conduct Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for all equipment and systems.
Computer Systems Management: Manage Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS), with a focus on Siemens systems
Compensation:
$75/hr to $80/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
