Onsite Project Delivery Lead

We are hiring immediately for an Onsite Project Delivery Lead to help us power progress for our customers.  You will lead onsite project teams through planning, installation, commissioning, and operations phases of project life cycle.  Coordinate Projects and Operations resources to execute and deliver projects in varying industries, locations, and environments.   

Responsible to organize and control resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Work requires candidate to have technical knowledge in power, temperature control, and compressed air to advise on scope changes, quality assurance, and other more technical aspects of the project.

What you’ll do:

Coordinate engineered project solutions from concept through design, engineering and executionImplement and document agreed modificationsSupport Project Delivery teams during the planning, installation, and commissioning phases of project life cycle.Compile engineering design reports and electrical/mechanical systems schematic drawingsSupport all project design change activitiesSpecify ‘specialist’ electrical equipment in conjunction with the Product teamCoach, mentor and motivate team members and influence them to take positive actions and accountability for their assigned taskAdherence to the relevant quality, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements and standardsTravel 50-60% of time to any area in North America in varying industries and environmentsCustomer service focus with clients and internal stakeholders

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5-9 years related experience

5+ years of significant project experience

Persistent, positive, critical thinking, self-reliant personality

Project Management certification from PMI, APM, or equivalent is a plus

Working in/with the petrochemical or utilities fields preferred

Background knowledge in project management of one or more product related fields preferred (HVAC, Electrical and/or Power Generation, etc.)

Ability to manage a wide range of projects types and complexities

Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, P&IDs and process design packages

Ability to recognize major issues ahead of time and alert key stakeholders to develop corrective actions

Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions enhancing project effectiveness

Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs
