Location Description Michael Foods, Inc. located in Lenox, Iowa and often called the "Pearl of the Prairie" is where you can find small town living, focused on family and friends, with big city amenities not far from reach in Des Moines, Omaha, and Kansas City. Located in southwest Iowa, Taylor county, with a population of around 1400, the Lenox area reaches far beyond the city limits with beautiful and productive fields of corn, beans, and other croplands. Lenox holds an amazing four day Rodeo every July and is home to a beautiful 36-9 hole golf course, several fishing and boating lakes, great area hunting, a beautiful city park with swimming pool, and many picnic parks. The MFI location in Lenox produces primarily pre-cooked egg patties. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: In the Recruiter position you will be a vital member of our Human Resources team, playing a key role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy. You will partner with various business units to understand their needs and develop innovative approaches to attract top talent for both salaried and hourly positions at our facilities. This is an exciting, fast-paced position that needs a goal-oriented individual who offers excellence in service, a collaborative approach, and an initiative-taker mentality. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, testing, and recommending candidates for placement using innovative methods. Contribute to business, HR, and talent acquisition goals by developing and coordinating initiatives for military, college, and diversity recruiting. Utilize a variety of resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community events, social media, digital recruiting, and competitive intelligence, to identify and attract both active and passive candidates. Engage and attract top talent by providing comprehensive information on compensation, benefits, policies, and procedures, ensuring a positive and informative candidate experience. Partner with business and HR teams to meet staffing needs within assigned facilities and consult with management and department leaders on hiring decisions. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration and/or 1+ years prior recruiting/sourcing experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Manufacturing. Experience with military and college recruiting process and programs a plus. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCims a plus) A creative and strategic view of sourcing and utilizes social media as a recruiting tool. Demonstrated verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and skills for building relationships with candidates, internal customers, and business partners. Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.
