Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced customer-focused and enthusiastic Hardware Break-Fix engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Client at their London office location.
You will also be part of a wider IT support team with your day-to-day activity involve troubleshooting predominantly HP End User Workplace equipment (laptops) while offering exceptional customer service.
You will have good written and spoken communication, hold a genuine interest in Hardware resolution, be a diligent administrator and organised.
This is a full-time on-site permanent position working 37.5-hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
Key Responsibilities:
Triage and perform hardware repairs of 'In Warranty and Out of Warranty kit'.ServiceNow queue ticket management of assigned tickets ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels as per contractParts, cost management and asset management of kit in/outLiaise with vendors for parts and returns as per contractHighlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team LeaderFollow any agreed processes and procedures either from the Authority or DXCRequirements:
HP Warranty Accredited / CertifiedFamiliar with HP Warranty Portal process.Hardware - Diagnose, troubleshoot, support & repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs)Experience in a corporate environment.Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
