Job Description Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Open-Rank Biostatistics Faculty Position

We are excited to invite doctoral-level biostatisticians for the Open-Rank Biostatistics Faculty Position at MSK. Role Overview:

Conduct independent research interests, use modern analytic and computational methods to design and analyze clinical trials and observational studies while collaborating with investigators studying the full spectrum of problems in cancer research. The successful candidate will be recognized as a leader throughout the institution and the oncology community in cancer research methods.

This Biostatics Faculty Position will join an existing group of 45 biostatisticians (19 faculty and 26 research staff), which include five ASA fellows, editors of leading journals, and presidents of international societies. The current interests of the faculty include methodology for the design and analysis of clinical trials, epidemiologic studies, genomics, latent variable modeling, diagnostic test evaluations, survival analysis, computer intensive methods, hierarchical modeling, and Bayesian techniques. Key Qualifications:Doctoral degree in biostatistics or a related field, or equivalent experience in the fieldStrong dedication to statistical collaborations with medical or basic science investigatorsExcellent communication skillsInterest in pursuing independent methodological researchExperience with hematologic cancers is preferred but not requiredCore Skills:Proven expertise in the design and analysis of clinical trials and observational studiesAbility to implement innovative analytic and computational methodsOutstanding leadership and collaborative skillsStrong mentoring abilities for junior faculty and research staffFlawless communication and presentation skillsAmbitious approach to driving and successfully implementing research projectsApplication Instructions:

Pay Range: $95,000 - $336,000

Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
