Classification Title: Assistant Professor College/Division: College of Education Department: CED Educational Studies Advertised Job Summary: The Department of Educational and Developmental Science, programs in Physical Education, at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track (Open Rank) position in applied sport psychology anticipated to begin August 16, 2025. We welcome candidates with 1) an earned doctorate in kinesiology, coaching, sport psychology, counseling, or related field, 2) CMPC credentials, 3) evidence of previous teaching experience in applied sport psychology and/or coaching, 4) evidence of – or promise of developing – a program of scholarly research (including extramural funding), and 5) the ability to work cooperatively with diverse colleagues and students.
